Halfdays is looking for motivated, personable individuals with great communication skills to join our team for the winter season. This is a part-time position.

The role of a retail associate at Halfdays is to build connections with the customers while communicating Halfdays' product expertise and fashion-forward, fun brand positioning.

Responsibilities:

  • Build customer relationships and meet monthly sales targets.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Welcome clients into our space and educate them on our products.
  • Keep the store organized, clean, merchandised, and shoppable.
  • Provide our guests with a seamless experience from door to checkout.

Operational Tasks:

  • Ensure the sales floor is stocked every evening
  • Collaborate with management in areas of inventory management
  • Ensure the retail store is cleaned on a regular basis
  • Identify and communicate product concerns in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Prior retail experience is preferred.
  • Ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
  • Strong organizational skills and follow through skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
  • Eager to develop new skills and responsive to feedback

Pay range: $19-$21 / hour
