The Genevieve GORE-TEX® 2L Down Jacket is insulated with 600-fill-power RDS down, giving you built-in warmth without the bulk of layering a separate puffer under a shell.
- WHAT DOES 600-FILL-POWER DOWN MEAN?
The 600-fill-power RDS down in the Genevieve GORE-TEX® 2L Down Jacket is designed to trap warm air efficiently without adding excessive bulk. Fill power measures how much loft the down has, so 600 fill power gives you a balance of warmth, weight, and compressibility that works well for an insulated ski jacket.
- WHAT DOES GORE-TEX® 2L MEAN?
In GORE-TEX® 2L, the outer fabric is bonded to the GORE-TEX® waterproof membrane, while the lining and down insulation sit separately inside. This construction allows the jacket to combine weather protection and insulation in one piece.
- DO I NEED TO WEAR A PUFFER UNDER THE GENEVIEVE GORE-TEX® 2L DOWN JACKET?
Usually, no. The Genevieve GORE-TEX® 2L Down Jacket already has built-in down insulation. Start with a base layer, then add a lightweight midlayer only when you need extra warmth.
- HOW DO I CARE FOR THE GENEVIEVE GORE-TEX® 2L DOWN JACKET?
Follow the garment care label. Wash regularly to maintain GORE-TEX® performance and tumble dry after washing to help reactivate the water-repellent finish and restore the loft of the down insulation.
